Oh me too! It started when I purchased a guitar from Sweetwater. They include little packs of candy with orders. The first one included Laffy Taffy banana and I was instantly addicted. Now Sweetwater sends me ALL LT banana! That is how you create a devoted customer!

(Yes, I do buy them outside of Sweetwater orders, the Household CFO wouldn’t approve of me ordering enough guitars to feed my own diseased love.)

I first had Laffy taffy banana when I was a kid I think preschool

Probably on visits to 7-Eleven to look at comic books because one was in walking distance

If we bought one comic, the owner would let us read other ones sitting down on the floor so that we didn’t have to buy them and that was cool

He did make us wash her hands first and dry them thoroughly and keep the comic so we didn’t buy looking as though they were brand new

Unfortunately, there was no Marvel. He only had a contract for DC so I didn’t even know about the Marvel characters.

But I would always buy myself one piece of candy while I was there in addition to a comic my brother and I used to go together

And one day he suggested I try the taffy

And that was the end of that I was in love

So many decades, and my love has never faltered
